Gyno-Pevaryl ist ein Präparat, das Pilze, die beim Menschen Infektionen im Bereich der Geschlechtsteile verursachen können, vernichtet.
Gyno-Pevaryl wird auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin zur Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen der Scheide und der äusseren Geschlechtsteile angewendet.
Die Vaginalmykose kann nur richtig behandelt werden, wenn Sie sich genau an die Vorschriften Ihres behandelnden Arztes resp. Ihrer behandelnden Ärztin halten.
Infektionen, auch der Vagina, sind übertragbare Erkrankungen. Bitte beachten Sie Hygienemassnahmen wie regelmässiges Waschen während der Dauer der Erkrankung.
Unterwäsche, Handtücher und Waschlappen sollten täglich gewechselt werden.
Vergessen Sie nicht, dass dieses Arzneimittel zur Behandlung Ihrer gegenwärtigen Erkrankung von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin verschrieben wurde. Es darf nicht für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen verwendet werden.
Gyno-Pevaryl ist kontraindiziert bei Patienten mit Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber dem Wirkstoff, anderen vergleichbaren Pilzmitteln (vom Imidazoltyp) oder einem der Hilfsstoffe.
Der Scheidenpilz verursacht im Allgemeinen Beschwerden wie Juckreiz, Brennen und Ausfluss. In seltenen Fällen können unter Anwendung von Gyno-Pevaryl die Reizerscheinungen vorübergehend zunehmen. Halten die Reizerscheinungen an, kann dies ein Hinweis auf Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen sein. Das Auftreten von stärkeren Beschwerden kann ein Hinweis auf eine Infektion durch nicht empfindliche Pilze und Bakterien sein. In beiden Fällen ist der Arzt oder die Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Um Rückfälle zu vermeiden sollten auch die Schamlippen und der Partner behandelt werden.
Gyno-Pevaryl darf nicht am Auge oder anderen Körperteilen angewendet werden und darf nicht eingenommen werden.
Gleichzeitiger Gebrauch von Ortho®-Diaphragma oder Präservativen zur Empfängnisverhütung mit Gyno-Pevaryl ist zu vermeiden, da einerseits die Oberfläche des Diaphragmas verändert sowie die Reissfestigkeit von Präservativen herabgesetzt und anderseits die heilende Wirkung von Gyno-Pevaryl beeinträchtigt werden könnte.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin, wenn Sie gleichzeitig Blutverdünner (Antikoagulantien) wie Acenocoumarol (Sintrom®) oder Phenprocoumon (Marcoumar®) einnehmen, da Gyno-Pevaryl den Effekt des Blutverdünners beeinflussen kann.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder vaginal anwenden!
Während einer Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit darf Gyno-Pevaryl nur auf ärztliche Verordnung angewendet werden. Es wird empfohlen, während der Anwendung von Gyno-Pevaryl nicht zu stillen.
Wenn von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, führen Sie während 15 Tagen jeden Abend vor dem Schlafengehen, am besten im Liegen, eine Applikatorfüllung Vaginalcrème oder ein Vaginalovulum Gyno-Pevaryl 50 tief in die Scheide ein.
Partnerbehandlung: Während 1?2 Wochen Eichel und Vorhaut 1× täglich mit warmem Wasser reinigen und dann dünnschichtig eincrèmen.
Wenn von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, führen Sie während 3 aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen jeden Abend vor dem Zubettgehen, am besten im Liegen, ein Ovulum tief in die Scheide ein. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Ovulum bis zur hintersten Stelle in der Scheide eingeführt wird. Die Crème (nur im Gyno-Pevaryl 150 Combipack enthalten) ist zur Anwendung im Bereich der Schamlippen sowie zur Partnerbehandlung bestimmt. Das Anwendungsgebiet wird 1× täglich mit warmem Wasser gereinigt und dann eingecremt. Die Behandlung ist fortzusetzen, bis der Tubeninhalt verbraucht ist.
Eine begonnene Antimykotika-Therapie sollte so lange wie vom Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin verordnet durchgeführt werden. Die Krankheitssymptome verschwinden oft bevor die Infektion vollständig ausgeheilt ist. Deshalb sollte die Behandlung über das Verschwinden der Krankheitszeichen hinaus fortgesetzt werden. Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Erkrankung zur Folge haben.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Die Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit von Gyno-Pevaryl ist bei Kindern nicht geprüft worden.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Gyno-Pevaryl auftreten:
Häufig: brennendes Gefühl der Haut oder Juckreiz an der Applikationsstelle.
Gelegentlich: Hautausschlag.
Sehr selten: allergische Reaktionen mit Schwellungen der Haut und Schleimhaut, Nesselsucht, Kontaktdermatitis und Abschälen der Haut.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Gyno-Pevaryl Ovula: Nicht über 30 °C lagern.
Gyno-Pevaryl Vaginalcrème und Gyno-Pevaryl Combipack: Nicht über 25 °C lagern.
Nach Beendigung der Behandlung soll das Arzneimittel mit dem eventuell verbliebenen Inhalt Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin) zum fachgerechten Entsorgen gebracht werden.
